Combat Boots & Tap Shoes

This is one of my favorite pictures that I've done.  Combat boots and Tap Shoes.

Tap shoes, well worn, well loved, danced in a million  times - Combat boots we can only imagine what they have been through, the daily use, and yes probably even loved.

This photograph to me shows love, love of their career paths and even though their careers take them far away, they still love each other.  Yet there is something else in this photograph, to me.  It's strength - strength in him protecting her.  It's strength in her - holding it together when he goes away.

Again, this photograph is memories of a time gone by.   Something they will look at one day and be able to recall those precious memories of days right before his deployment.  Days they won't be able to get back but can hold in their hands and remember.
