About This Walk
This is our first time leading a walk. We LOVE photography and can’t wait to share with everyone.
All photographers are welcome – from cell phone users/point & shoot/to DSLR. We recommend to bring your lightest camera. Remember we will be walking about one mile so you may not want to bring all your lenses. Remember comfortable shoes and to dress for the weather. Last year was a horrible day as a nor’easter came up the coast but we went out anyway, so make sure your gear is protected! The one thing you can expect is to have fun!
An exact route will be posted later, but for now, we plan on starting near the Washington Street Mall, even though it’s October, we can get some great shots of the mall – we will travel the historic streets of Cape May NJ and then be able to catch a wave or two – that is with our cameras. As we travel the streets, feel free to use others to practice your portrait work or street photography with strangers.
With a group size of 50 – we will not all be staying together. Please travel at your own pace and plan to meet us at the end of the walk. Remember safety is key! Always look before crossing the road even though the beach town will be quiet we want everyone to stay safe.
Please be sure to include your email when you register for any last minute changes etc. We will be creating a Facebook page for our walkers and also in addition to Kelby flickr we will create our own flickr account so you may add to the fun locally!!
