The Final Moments

There are a lot of final moments in life - how will you remember them.  They are not always sad - they can be glorious.  

Final moments before the end of a school year, final moments before you are no longer single and take a walk down the aisle, final moments before your baby is in your arms and you are a new parent.  Yes, there are some sad final moments, moments before your loved pet slips away - but we won't talk about those final moments today.

One final moment that is often overlooked is the one of having an only child- right before that new baby is born, your precious child, one you have had for years is now going to be a big brother (or sister) right before your very eyes.  No longer will he have your undivided attention - but he will be a big brother and take on a protective role, a teaching role, and yes sometimes a quarrelsome role.  Moments to cherish, moments to love, moments to remember.
