"You Can't Make Old Friends"
My favorite artist of all time, Kenny Rogers, in recent years sang another duet with Dolly Parton. "You Can't Make Old Friends" talks about how even if you don't see someone, there is a bond that can't be broken between old friends.
This was proven to me when my first friend reached out to me on Facebook . I haven't seen/talked to her in like 30 years, but when we got together, it was like nothing ever changed (ok, so we got old, but!). I have a few friends in life that I like to consider "Old Friends". The thing is, I'm sad to say that I can't find any pictures of me and my first friend any place and neither can she. I know they are around, just don't know where.

It's so important to take photographs, even if it's just a snap shot. The one photograph seen here is of me and my old friend who past away 12 years ago, there will be no more photos with him, but I have this one, that I cherish.
Go back and reminisce - look over those great times you may have forgotten or just want to relive. Grab your nearest and dearest friends, make an appointment with a photographer and get some professional photographs done to hang on your wall, so when you are old, you can look back and remember. Choose a photographer who will work with your style!
Here are just a few pictures of me (or my kids) with my old friends!

Oh and by the way, check out #KennyRogers song "You Can't Make Old Friends"
What will I do when you are gone?
Who's gonna tell me the truth?
Who's gonna finish the stories I start,
The way you always do?
Who's gonna tell me the truth?
Who's gonna finish the stories I start,
The way you always do?
When somebody knocks at the door,
Someone new walks in.
I will smile and shake their hands,
but you can't make old friends.
Someone new walks in.
I will smile and shake their hands,
but you can't make old friends.
You can't make old friends
Can't make old friends
It was you and me, since way back when.
But you can't make old friends.
Can't make old friends
It was you and me, since way back when.
But you can't make old friends.
How will I sing when you are gone?
Cause it wont sound the same.
Who will join in on those harmony parts,
When I call your name?
Cause it wont sound the same.
Who will join in on those harmony parts,
When I call your name?
You can't make old friends
Can't make old friends
It was you and me, since way back when.
But you can't make old friends.
Can't make old friends
It was you and me, since way back when.
But you can't make old friends.
When Saint Peter opens the gate,
And you come walking in.
I will be there just waiting for you.
Cause you can't make old friends
Cause you can't make old friends.
And you come walking in.
I will be there just waiting for you.
Cause you can't make old friends
Cause you can't make old friends.
When I am out on the stage all alone
And I hear the music begin.
We all know the show must go on.
But you can't make old friends.
And I hear the music begin.
We all know the show must go on.
But you can't make old friends.
You can't make old friends.
Can't make old friends
And you and me, will be young again.
You can't make old friends.
Can't make old friends
And you and me, will be young again.
You can't make old friends.
You and me, will be together again.
Cause we both know, we will still be old friends.
Cause we both know, we will still be old friends.
You can't make old friends
Not the way we have always been.
