What is being said?

Interestingly enough, Google does not say photography.  "Painting or sculpture" is used in the definition.  So is photography art?  I personally think it can be (but like not all who have a camera are photographers, neither is a photograph always art).  

Family photographs are not hung any more.  You change your wall color, you change your paintings and other decor, but what about a family photograph.  Why not have a photograph of yourself to remind your of a certain time in life.  I don't mean an 8x10 picture you hang on the wall.  I am talking about an almost life size portrait to be seen and appreciated by all.  Let those in your life know how important they are to you.

This photo I am attaching to this blog today, is what I believe, art.  No it is not a family photograph, but it does produce works to be appreciated.  I want to know what is going on in this photo, don't you?  Not to mention, I love how the blue bike plays off of the pink trees.
