Taxes - Blah!

As I sit here and try to gather up all my information for my business for taxes - let's face it, it's not fun!  Why on earth would you want to go into business - a registered DBA, Sole Proprietor business when you have to pay taxes!  The truth of the matter is, it is really not that big of a deal, especially when I know there are families out there that have beautiful memories hanging on their walls, memories I helped to create and capture.  Little ones will only be little so long.  

Actually it was sort of fun going through my taxes as I remembered each client that came to me for help this year.  Each person/family had their own story, their own reason to capture that space in time.  Some was for Christmas memories, some for business or pageantry headshots, some was for yearly family portraits.  I am blessed to be the one they chose to create for them.  I am blessed beyond measure to be able to meet so many different people I would have never met before.

I am looking forward to this year, meeting new friends, connecting with "old" friends.  You see anyone who comes into Brass Frog Photography (conveniently located in the Village on High in Millville NJ) is not just a client but a friend.

So instead of complaining about taxes, I'll look at it as a great way to review the year and look forward to the upcoming year!

I mean hey! just look at this face! How would I have it any other way?
